Q: Does Experlogix Smart Flows have the same features as XperiDo?
A: Yes, Experlogix Smart Flows has all the features of XperiDo and many more. It is similar so XperiDo users require minimal training on the new product. The template design experience in the Experlogix Template Builder for Microsoft Word is almost identical to the XperiDo template design add-in for Word. The most significant changes are in the data set and template management experiences. Experlogix Smart Flows comes with a better and faster Data Set Builder. It also provides a visual builder experience for flows for. document generation, storage, and delivery processes.
Q: Do I need to redo all my templates and data sets?
A: No, for the SaaS version, XperiDo templates and data sets will be semi-automatically converted to Experlogix Smart Flows templates and data sets. Our migration service will generate a flow for each standard template or composed template that mimics the default settings of your templates.
For the on-premises/private cloud version, you can export the XperiDo project from the XBintegrator Admin Console and import the archive into the Experlogix Smart Flows project. Upon import, your XperiDo templates and data sets will be semi-automatically converted to Experlogix Smart Flows templates and data sets.
Q: Do I need to change anything in my host application (Microsoft Dynamics 365/Sugar)?
A: Yes, Experlogix Smart Flows comes with connector apps for Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sugar among others. Make sure to import and install them in all CRM instances where you want to run Experlogix Smart Flows. Download links and installation instructions will be provided as we prepare for migration. Microsoft Dynamics 365 workflows using XperiDo steps will need to be refactored to use Experlogix Smart Flows steps instead.
Q: Will my integrations viathe XperiDo API still work after the migration?
A: No, Experlogix Smart Flows comes with a new REST API. When the XperiDo service is discontinued, all integrations that use the XperiDo API will no longer work properly. We recommend you start planning the refactoring of your integrations using the Experlogix Smart Flows API. For an overview of the Experlogix Smart Flows, refer to Using the API.
Q: When is the migration taking place?
A: The migration can be scheduled once you have completed the requirements for your Smart Flows order with your sales representative.

Q: Where can I find training material or documentation on Experlogix Smart Flows?

Q: Can I temporarily run XperiDo and Experlogix Smart Flows side-by-side?
A:Yes, If you subscribe to Experlogix Smart Flows, you are allowed to run both products side-by-side for a maximum of 8 weeks, starting from the activation date of your Experlogix Smart Flows subscription.
Q: Can I try Experlogix Smart Flows?
A: Yes, you are entitled to use a new Experlogix Smart Flows production instance immediately. Please contact your sales representative or submit a request. Please contact your sales representative to talk you through the next steps.
Q: What do I need to do to schedule my migration?
A: To schedule a migration:

Complete and sign the new order document for the Smart Flows service, your sales representative will send a notification to the migration team. You will be contacted by the migration team within 1-2 business days to plan a migration date.

For Cloud installations (Public or Private), the migration will be done by Experlogix.

If some custom work was done with your XperiDo installation, it needs to be reviewed by our services team and evaluated before the migration.

If your installation is on-premises, we need access to the XperiDo remote console to proceed with the migration.

A trial environment will be made available for up to 8 weeks.

If needed, we can create a consolidated pack of some XperiDo projects for testing in the trial environment. This process requires about one business day to complete.

Once you are ready to proceed with the migration, we will make a consolidated pack of all your XperiDo projects.

When you are ready to move into production, we can move the trial license to production.

You can have XperiDo and Smart Flows in parallel mode.

Once the migration process is complete, a backup of the XperiDo projects will be done, and then the XperiDo access will be deactivated.
