Create Note Flow Block Error

Some users experienced the following error: "Could not create annotation. Please contact your Smart Flows administrator when passing an invalid value to the Regarding property of the Create Note flow block". We've updated the error to indicate that Designers should reconfigure their flow block to use a valid property, "Error: Value for Regarding in the Create Note step is not allowed. Please reconfigure the flow."

40949 Fix Docusign data set drop-downs display After creating a Docusign data set and associating it with a template, dropdown menus would previously neglect the initial value set for the field in the data set and display "select." Drop-down menus will show the initial value set during the data set creation.
40948 Improvement Docusign Recipient Decline Reporting When recipients decline to sign a document, the system provides the name of the recipient who declined and the reason for declining in the Flow Output Panel.
41253 Fix Flows continuously load and do not progress Some Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE users experienced an error where flows fell into a continuous load state. We've updated the error handling not to allow flows with errors to queue and show the loading status.
41306 Fix Images fail to render during document generation Some users experienced missing images when utilizing connector image resources during document generation. This error mainly occurred on imported templates. If no connector exists with the ID of the connector used in the image-rendered mapping, the system now uses the default connector of the same type.
35860 Fix Imported Flows don't Display in Flow Execution Panel Some users experienced an issue where after importing a flow, the flow didn't display in the Flow Execution Panel. We've updated the triggers for detection, and users should see all imported flows showing now.

Improve Flow Start Behavior

We've implemented several changes to provide Designers better control over how starting a flow works in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.

We've added a new system tag; Flyout(run in the back). When a flow designer tags a flow as Flyout(run in the back), the flow appears in the flyout menu, and the system starts the flow without opening the Flow Execution Panel. When a user applies Flyout to a flow, the flow appears in the flyout menu, and the system runs the flow and opens the Flow Execution Panel, see Availability System Tag Group for more information.

When users trigger a flow with the new system tag Flyout(run in the back), they will receive a notification in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE user interface indicating that the flow has started. Example: "Flow name" is being executed and running in the back.

The notification also provides a link to the flow in the Flow Execution Panel.
41087 Fix Improve SharePoint Support for Special Characters { }# When submitting documents with special characters in their name via Store in SharePoint, the flow outputs an error and writes the file to SharePoint with missing metadata. We've made changes so that the system does not throw an error and writes the metadata correctly.
41566 Improvement New Licenses do not Default to Primary Plugin When admins previously added new licenses, the system did not select the primary plugin by default. We've updated the system to use the primary plugin when adding additional licenses.
41599 Improvement Project Console Allows Invalid Date Set Creation Previously when creating connectors, the system would let you create data sets for connectors you do not have. We've added additional rules to prevent the creation of data sets for which your project does not have a connector.
41669 Improvement Rebranding in Project Console and Flow Execution Panel We've updated the branding, colors, and fonts in Project Console.
38399 Fix Remove Timezone Offset from Date Set Conditions In Project Console, when setting conditions, some users experienced the system adding a timezone offset when adding a date condition to a data set. We've removed the timezone offset from the system.
37621 Improvement Remove White Space from Custom Data Set Field Name The system displays white spaces when viewing a Custom data set on the back end. We've trimmed those leading and trailing intersperse from the Custom data set.
41237 Improvement Retrieve Current User via Retrieve Data Flow Block The system could not retrieve the current user when running a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O flow. We fixed this so the system can output the current user when mapping with the Retrieve Data flow block.
41571 Improvement Standardize Term to E-mail Over time the guidance for spelling "e-mail" has varied within Smart Flows. We've now standardized to exclusively using E-mail throughout Project Console.
41301 Improvement Support for the Orientation EXIF tag on JPEG images We've added support for exchangeable image file format(EXIF) to Template Builder. EXIFClosed Inbound dependcies are items that depend on an active item. Deleting an active item also deletes its inbound dependency. is a standard that specifies formats for images, sound, and ancillary tags used by digital cameras, scanners, and other systems handling image and sound files. Images with the EXIF tag will now be orientated accordingly in the generated document.
41045 Fix Unable to apply filtered 1:N relation in Microsoft Dynamics F&O When using a filtered 1:N relation on Customer V3 to party contacts, the system throws a "system name is invalid" error. We've updated the system to replace spaces with underscores to make the system name valid.
41197 Improvement Unordered Drop-Downs in Sugar Some Sugar users experienced an error when selecting the dropdown button in the accounts view; the system did not group Xpertdoc Quick Run and the available flows. We've updated the system to group all Smart Flows buttons at the bottom.
41629 Improvement Updated 'Adobe Sign' with 'Adobe Acrobat Sign' We've updated all the instances of Adobe Sign with Adobe Acrobat Sign in English, French, and Dutch labels.
